Our team, in conjunction with the client, developed interactive exhibits while utilizing as much of the existing client-owned equipment as possible to maximize the available budget for the development of interactive content.
A theme of learning strongly influenced the way the interactives were presented, with educational values at the forefront.
Rockbrook developed the software interactives using game engines. In one instance, visitors could explore how pests play a critical role in maintaining a balanced ecosystem. They could learn how the eradication of some pests could lead to disastrous consequences for both plant life and the protection of trees. Other interactives explored the variety of diseases that trees can succumb to.
A third interactive examined plant DNA. A DNA sequence was printed on a glass panel, encouraging visitors to use their fingers to zoom in. An integrated display showed the zoomed-in DNA sequence as the visitor explored the glass-printed graphic.
