The Blasket Centre in Dingle, Co. Kerry, underwent a significant fit-out, incorporating modern audio-visual elements to enhance the visitor experience. The updated exhibition now features interactive displays that allow visitors to engage with the sights, sounds, and stories of the Blasket Islands. New AV displays, including lightboxes and audio systems, have been strategically integrated to bring the rich history and cultural heritage of the islanders to life, offering an immersive exploration of their unique way of life.

These AV enhancements, developed in collaboration with the design team Bright, include various multimedia elements such as artefacts, artworks, and interactive stations that provide a tactile and auditory experience. The audio-visual installations, coupled with the centre’s striking architecture and the stunning views from the clifftop viewing platform, create a dynamic and engaging environment for visitors to explore the history of the Blasket Islands and the Wild Atlantic Way.
