Recently opened on the ground floor of the Guinness Storehouse. This new experience brings a new experience as you turn every corner. The simple concept is to showcase the key ingredients of Guinness, Hops, Barley, Water and Yeast. Each of these ingredients is treated to a unique Audio Visual treatment with their own separate personalities.
As you enter the spaced you are greeted with a 26m wrap around LED wall with a 1,5mm pixel pitch and 360 degree projection above. Once you move to the Barley field area an impressive 40 square meter LED screen suspended form the ceiling above. Our team was also responsible for the mechanical design and supporting steel to suspend this giant 1.2 tonneinstallation. This was a challenge to ensure the required level of adjustability was built into the design. As you move into the hops area a projection mapped installation onto hanging fabrics and hologauze material creates a layered visual experience with real depth. Moving into the hops area projection arrangement was further used to project onto a 3D water printer.
Our scope included the electrical design, installation of all AV systems and a 26-channel audio system. The early stages of this project seen our team embarked on an extensive prototyping phase with the experience designer Danzil & Pow. Delivered on time in an incredibly tight 6 week installation window in April 2024.
